Please join the ICAA and instructor Niklas Thorsrud for an introductory studio introducing the materials and methods needed to create hand-drafted architectural drawings. Through a combination of lecture and practice, participants will learn drawing techniques and acquire the skills necessary to represent architectural forms and elements cleanly and precisely. The focus will be on orthogonal drawings.
The course begins with an orientation to the equipment and introduce techniques used for traditional hand-drafting. Participants will then complete a series of hands-on exercises designed to develop skills and demonstrate different methods of drawing construction.
Participants of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to join.
